Ferrari 488 / Pista SOUL 3.5″ Performance Exhaust Systems

Description DEVELOPMENT:  From the factory, the Ferrari 488 is extremely reserved and quiet – a travesty! The muted exhaust note and silenced turbos are not befitting of an exotic car and we sought to elevate the driving experience while optimizing the exhaust for maximum power gains. The valves open path piping on the factory system terminates in just under 3″ piping. We opted for 3.5″ piping to maximize flow and performance, especially on vehicles with an ECU tunes!  An incorporated X-pipe results in a higher pitched tone while the longer piping helps smooth out the exhaust sound and mitigates drone. SOUND:  Quite simply – as Enzo Ferrari intended. You’ll be treated to a greater presence from the turbos and greatly enhanced spooling sound under heavy throttle. The mechanical chorus of the engine is amplified in all scenarios to a perfect flat-plane crank V8 wail. The Sport version offers the perfect blend of refined aggression that will never be overbearing with the ability to fly under the radar when cruising. You will not miss the transition between valves opening and closing as you’ll have control over the volume with your right foot. The Competition version – being a straight pipe system – is more aggressive under all conditions while still being streetable but will certainly attract attention. CONSTRUCTION:  Each component is assembled in the USA out of mandrel bent, thick wall .065″” T304L stainless steel. Our billet 304L stainless steel flanges are precision cut on a 5-axis CNC machine for the best possible strength. Back purged TIG welding (with ARCAL™ Prime argon gas) ensures proper weld penetration and longevity – crucial for durability on the track. We fabricate the exhaust using thick gauge aluminum fixtures which act as a great heat sink during the welding process and prevent warping not only of our products, but the fixtures themselves to ensure perfect fitment. CERAMIC COATING:  Jet-Hot ceramic coating is available for an additional charge. Extreme (1300) or Ultra Extreme Heat (2500) coatings can lower surrounding temperatures by up to 65% and protects from thermal oxidation and corrosion. We suggest a custom ECU tune to disable any check engine lights (for track use only).
