With the valves closed a resonated 2-inch secondary flow path routes exhaust through oversized resonators. This reduces volume, cancels drone, and smooths exhaust pulses—delivering a refined, discreet tone perfect for cruising. A flip of the switch and you can open the valves. Now the exhaust bypasses restrictions and flows through a full 3-inch primary path, unleashing maximum power and the raw, unmistakable Mezger flat-six sound.
